Hi, I’m Ami Yomekpe, an award-winning fashion business owner with over a decade of experience in starting and building the fashion brand, MOD Hq.

I have a strong understanding of business management including finance, supply chain management and retail operations. With the experience in leading teams, mentoring staff and fostering a collaborative work environment, my track record successfully running a fashion business is proven.

I am recognized as a Tony Elumelu Foundation Grant 2016 awardee as well as the Female Designer Of The Year 2022 by the Entertainment Achievement Awards. I am also a beneficiary of the Women Entrepreneurs for Africa. With courses taken in Entrepreneurship for Creatives, Fashion Design and Marketing taken at the prestigious Central St Martins under the University of Arts, London, I have extensive knowledge backed by years of business operations.

I have industry insight into consumer behavior in the fashion industry and have also actively participated in various fashion shows and exhibitions within Africa and Europe namely the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Cape-town 2017, Nairobi Fashion Week 2022 and the Oxford Africa Gala 2015.

I have a well-rounded expertise that combines creativity with a solid business acumen which is essential for thriving in the fashion industry.
